Not sure if the Welsh claim on parts of North America includes the wildrose patch but an independent sovereign Wales might well be claiming parts of North America back, Obama you have been warned, you won't like it if we have to unleash the fury.

We do have a valid claim on Patagonia mind

I used to think footie fans were tribal, ultras abroad would be waving political flags of local political groups like Plaid ?, I would have thought that Plaid would be leading the Swans poll, perhaps the prawn sandwich brigade really have taken over football.

For those on here saying 'I'm not going to vote, no one inspires me' or 'I can't be bothered to vote', please remember that many of our grandparents and great grandparents gave their lives to protect your right to vote in a world war against fascism in the 1940s.

I'll be voting. I live in a safe Tory seat where the sitting MP has something like a 14k majority. My lifelong natural inclination has been Labour, but they are such a shower of sh1t at present that I may move sightly left and vote for the Greens, knowing all the while that all my vote will do is add to their national total and make absolutely no difference at local level.

That's such a tired and cliched line though. They fought for the right of freedom of speech and democracy, surely it's anyone's democratic right to decide that they will abstain from voting?

I know it's only small numbers but it's great to see Plaid's percentage going up.

And a dreadful shame that UKIP have had more. Hopefully people are just having a joke.

Well I do think it's sad that more people have indicated support for UKIP than for Plaid, the National Party of Wales.

I'm not for one moment saying that if they believe in UKIP they shouldn't vote that way. As you say, that's democracy.

Apparently the UKIP UK leader is married to a foreigner, apparently the UKIP Welsh leader is married to a foreigner, their stance on immigration seems to be ironic in lots of cases.

why haven't you made the green party green?

Just take a step back now and pretend all you can see are the parties opinions,

the any socialist would vote either plaid or green.

I realise that they aren't the best at live interviews but is that what we are voting them in for, its their policies.

I watched ed balls and Caesar this morning on the andrew marr show and they didn't answer loads of the questions that he was asking, I thought why are they actually on the show? Those 2 are best of mates, the whole political thing is a game to them.

Look at Geoff Hoon man he was a labour man now hes left politics and hes a CEO on a defense company, so decisions that he made during his time in parliament are now going to benefit him financially, that's got to be corrupt, look at Tory Blair how much money is he making its a disgrace hes supposed to be a socialist nu labour man.

These people you support or vote for, they are playing a game and you lot are the prawns they don't care if they lose a few of you as long as they save their queen

Tony Blair was just there for Tony Blair and his gargoyle of a wife. Blair passed the human rights charter intact because the darling Cherie is a Human Rights Barrister and he wanted to be seen as a good European. The rest of Europe cherry picked the Human Rights Charter to suit their own countries, but good old Tone accepted it hook, line and sinker. As for his Churchillian ego moment ask the families of the service personnel and innocent civilians killed in Iraq over a blatant lie, what they think of Bliar. If there was any justice in the world he and his ugly spouse would put up against a wall and machine gunned.

I've been posting on/off for the best part of 7 years and I've never hid or tried to mask my political opinions. I've said previously I'm a Labour Party member so I will be voting Labour in Llwchwr Community Hall on May 7th.

It wasn't a non statement. People don't go into politics to waste money. Beurocracy and crap staff slow down the best of ideas but that doesn't mean people shouldn't be scrutinised or held accountable.

labour stupidly say that everyone should be treated equally in Wales whether they are English or Scottish or welsh then they are equal, this is a childish naïve view of the world

in reality England will look after England and has no desire to look after welsh so why does welsh labour, especially in loughour believe that we should be at the forefront in being fair to everyone?

its childish and we need to grow our own economy not grow economies in

am obviously talking about business here

not people

labour say that they should treat all equal whether they are welsh or English which means less jobs for welsh people,

ask your own councillor in loughour what the labour opinion is?

realise what your voting for

If Plaid get that percentage nationally that is showing on here then they would win many seats, as under FPTP, where they are strong they are strong and where they are weak they are weak.
