Surprised more didn't fancy sitting up there - you'd certainly get a decent close-up view of the ball.

Perhaps they should place a giant photo of the sky on it . The rest of the stadium will seem quite populated then

I can't even consider them as viable contenders. Their debt is horrendous and their crowds seriously on the decline. The changing colours and badge episode is one in a long line of catastrophic blunders made by the people running the club. The racism issue with them and McKay is still unresolved. Season ticket sales are down and they're going to struggle to get 10K next season

How anyone could think that they are bigger or better than us is beyond me. I can only assume they have a form of mental illness. All this and I didn't even mention their playing squad and style of play. They're light years behind us and when we expand we will attract fans away from them and their traditional strongholds. Why would a kid from the valleys want to watch lower league hoofball when they could watch Premier League football

it could be termed a serious argument if the poll was taken in our last season in the NPC. However time has moved on so much the position is irrevocable.

Due to their impatience over the last ten years it will take them twenty to repair the damage done. They cant get to the prem without more debt, because we are here, and they know that every year we are, the weaker they become, its a hobsons choice of do it the hard way, while we consolodate and grow, or gamble with loans off iffy business men and build a house on sand, that way has failed once, if they dont do it and cling on to PL status for more than one season, they are stuffed.

The amusing thing is, instead of coming up, taking the cash and hoping that they could stay up with a very good championship team with a few bargains and loans thrown in (Like we did), they spent even more money on dross, which is madness. Cardiff's finances are like a man who is in debt, wins some cash, and spunks all the money he won, and more, in a casino. They will never be a big club until they grow up and do it properly, if you want to be a big club, money talks, and we've got loads compared to them.

You are the lowest form of life on Earth. You are not even human furcking beings! You are nothing but unorganized, grabastic pieces of amphibian sh1t! Because I am hard, you will not like me. But the more you hate me the more you will learn."

they couldn't dare try throwing cash at it again. If it fails that will be £250-300 million in debt. Not even Ocean Finance will be able to rescue that!

But Real were in the final of the CWC that year so, if they beat them, Crudders must have won it right? No? Oh that's right, they didn't. They were just ahead at half time. I see.

Fair play though that's more than they managed in just about any of their premier league games when they came for us.

You know what, I wouldn't mind betting they throw something at it next year.

The prize for going up next season will be the biggest ever with the TV rights. Maybe one final throw of the dice?

but don't you realise how much celebration goes on in the Bernabeu each year when the anniversary of their miraculous 2nd leg turn around against the mighty power house Cardiff City comes round? They don't care about Champions' League trophies, or winning the league - it all takes second place to the greatest result in their history...

I wonder if ANY of their supporters knows that they once lost a first leg to Cardiff but beat them in the second?

Were Real Mardid European champions when they beat them? Just pointing out, we beat the reigning European champions 2-0 on their own turf in 2013, when we beat Chelsea on the way to the League Cup.

No comparison between the clubs. They won the FA cup, so have the Royal Engineers, Preston, Bury (twice!), Bradford, Huddersfield, Pompey, Charlton etc, all of whom they would argue that they are bigger than. Winning the FA cup when amateur sides were still entering doesn't have any real effect on the current size of a club. Attendances are the one thing they have to cling onto and they're even losing that now...

It's highly unlikely that he's preparing another throw of the dice given the cost cutting they've seen over the last few months. Not impossible, but unlikely.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

No they weren't. Feyenoord won the European cup the year before. In fact Real finished fourth in the 1969/1970 season and the same position the year they played Cardiff. Was probably one of the worst Real Madrid sides in their entire history. But they still managed to beat the Mighty Bluebirds! How they managed this is still one of the great footballing mysteries even to this day!

They're going to need a double 5 or better...

Got me thinking , what is the greatest ever result for a Welsh club in Europe?

Newport almost went all the way in the cwc once.

Wrexham have taken some big scalps, I remember them knocking out porto and going the distance with roma

Merthyr beat an italian team in the cwc.

How do these compare with winning 3-0 away at Valencia?

So Real we're having a right spell in the doldrums then? It's all to do with the big name you see.

They lost 2-1to Chelsea in the final I was a big fan of Chelsea at the time but they were behind Leeds and Everton in the old 1st division if you had to compare that real Madrid team ton today I would say arsenal are a similar match.
