Looks like B'mouth are going to be promoted tonight against Bolton. For me personally I think they deserve it due to their positive approach and entertaining football.
However, I was flicking through the papers yesterday and they are apparently in 60 million worth of debt due to the amount of wages they are paying players and the transfer fees involved.
For a club that nearly went bust a few years ago because of financial mis management if thats true then they deserve to be sanction under the FFP rules because that just beggars belief. Talk about not learning your lesson!
I will enjoy going up there next season as its a nice place and hopefully will be a Sunday game and preferably not in the winter(will probably be 3pm on Boxing Day!)

They lost £16 million last year but all the money is owed to the Russian billionaire who owns them.
They would certainly struggle to comply with financial fair play regulations with a 12thousand capacity ground they are never going to generate enough income to pay championship winning wages.
Compared to QPR, Bolton and a few others they are probably pretty stable, unless the sanctions put up against Russia by the EU and the U.S. start spreading the sanctions wider which could effect even their owner. |  |

It will be the sammelst, Blackpool would have been the smallest at 10K but they put in a stand before they were promoted in 2010.

If those figures are correct then if the Russian backer isn't in it for the love if it, you can see him pocketing a lot of the money next year which will mean they won't strengthen appropriately. From what I've seen, that will mean only one thing. | |

Just looked them up on Wikipedia. I'd forgotten they had a 17 point deduction in League 2 in 2008-09. When Eddie Howe took over they were still 10 points behind at the bottom of the League! So the playoff for the final spot will likely come down to 1) Middlesbrough, 2) Norwich City, 3) Ipswich Town, and 4) Derby County, although Brentford (another club with a 12K seat ground) or Wolverhampton still have a faint chance to pass DC if they win next week and Derby loses at home to Reading.
