Exactly.
Some players (not necessarily on this list) are often called hard when in fact they are just dirty. Funny, when talking about hard players no-one ever mentions players like Leon or Nathan Dyer. I've seen these lads karate kicked around the midriff by some clueless Stoke City defender, just get up, brush themselves off and then get chopped down again 2 minutes later. Tommy Smith was hard but we often think of his tackle/assault on Ardilles. It was late and a miss- match in terms of size. I'd have been more impressed if he'd done it on their Centre Half, but he rarely did.
