Yes you are probably correct there!
Swansea City will rearrange its pre-season plans after the proposed tournament in Dallas was cancelled.
Garry Monk’s side were due to travel to Texas to feature in a six-team tournament featuring Chivas Guadalajara (Mexico), Olympique Lyonnais (France), Raja Casablanca (Morocco), Pachuca (Mexico) and Malaga (Spain) from July 11-19.
The Swans were expected to face Pachuca and Malaga, who themselves withdrew from the tournament earlier today, in the group stage.
But the club will now turn their attentions to new pre-season preparations ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.
We will announce the new plans as soon as they are confirmed.
We apologise to any inconvenience this may have caused our supporters. | |

Given Malaga pulled out earlier today, I guess this was inevitable.
It does make you wonder though, how some pretty big clubs can be lined up (Newcastle, Malaga and OL as well) and for it to be such a shambles?
Was this desperation at wanting a tour in the US at any costs given the investment link? Because from a purely commercial viewpoint, you would imagine that a tour in Asia may be more lucrative given Ki's commercial pull out there, and the fact that our main club sponsor is based out there as well.
It seems as though this isn't our fault of course, but we don't half have a strange record when it comes to this sort of stuff compared to the detailed plans that most of the premier league seem to have in place for the whole summer.
Shame for our US supporters though and for anyone that has made travel plans. I hope no one will be out of pocket over this. |  | | |

I got worried last week when I saw nothing had been announced yet out of Texas, so I didn't book anything, waiting for everything to be made official.

im biased, but i never understood why the team went to somewhat arbitrary locations when coming to nyc would make the most sense on an exposure level.
