The peoples republic of ospreylia encompasses the great clubs of neath, swansea, aberavon, maesteg and Bridgend amongst others. It's what makes us the one true region and is the reason we are the most successful welsh team by a million country miles. |  |

Some actually do like dissing other areas surrounding the city and it makes us look like a Billy Big Balls of the South West. Similar to those in the East.
They are all part of the Swansea Bay Region and it is important that this is recognised by the City, the Club and it's supporters.
It is here that our major marketing targets exist.
Once we have the additional capacity in the stadium we can start in earnest on the rest of Wales...... [Post edited 30 May 2015 16:12]

I didn't say you were. I put a smiley face in as well. I was suggesting that some do it on here. Port Toilet springs to mind. I was suggesting that those with such an attitude really need to look at the Swansea Bay Area as an entity. South West Wales would be preferable. |  |

I hadn't even heard of swansea until I lived in the US... just kidding.. my father loved swansea even though were from Pembrokeshire, back when I was a kid we'd go out your way quite a lot. Though I didn't really get into football until I discovered Swansea City Football club. And it wasn't for trying... it was just the right club at the right time!
I remember seeing Swansea City for the first time catching a championship match and being like "who are these lads? My father informed me. Though he's a Bluebird... which makes it quite fun to discuss football these days. |  |
