If we sign Tabanou, I'm looking forward to the resurrection of the Ampadu chant.

He's a winger so he'll be hit and miss and injured a fair bit. Hope he has a good first few games so that he doesn't get the Wilf/Bafe treatment.

Thing is Sunsh when Wilf first arrived he looked a bit sh*t. I remember in the Europa League home game against Malmo (think it was his debut?) where the ball came to his feet, he took a heavy touch, then went to spread the ball out wide and ended up clipping it into the upper tier of the stand. The finishing ability was there from day one but his all-round play was sloppy. It was only until after he went on his personal training plan that he looked himself.

Also with Bafe I think people were more f*cked off with his comments in the press rather than his performances as he didn't feature enough for us to get a look in before Wilf left.

Improving our stock, two players per position. If we can get a left back and a decent striker and goalkeeper, things will be looking good ( as long as we don't lose anyone)

Yes, maybe an upgrade on Emnes instead of Dyer.
Agree with Tommy, the perfect player type for us, there wont be much chance of him being lazy with the Swans, so its up to the player if he wants to realise his potential.
As I say, great potential.

He would give Montero competition
Dyer and Routledge would be on the right
Emnes - utility striker false 10. Surely, John couldn't be considered a stand in as striker in the way Emnes does?

€45 million release clause ,What's all that about ?

Hi All, Long time lurker crawling out of the woodwork.

Just read an article about Spanish release clauses.

http://www.sportskeeda.com/football/buy-out-clauses-how-they-work-spanish-footba

Apparently, all player contracts in spain must have buyout clauses, by law. But the law doesn't require them to be reasonable, so clubs tend to set them high, so they don't come into play. (i.e. Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have a buyout clause of €1 billion.)

The problem there is that Routs is twice the player on the left as he is on the right.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
