According to Sky Sports News HQ HQ, looks like his son's behaviour has contributed to this.

For 30 games or so Leicester were absolute sh*te. Seriously sh*te. They were a side devoid of any creativity or flair. Bottom of the table for a reason. It was a hell of a run they put together but they beat mostly mid-table sides (like us) with f*ck all to play for. Granted they played some magnificent football but I highly doubt they'll be able to do it consistently, under Pearson anyway.

Nigel Pearson conned everyone into believing he'd done a brilliant job and you only have to glance at the reaction to his sacking being deemed some kind of "footballing injustice". Brave move by the Leicester owners to get rid of him, that orgy video turning out to be a godsend, to see the bigger picture. If they can get a manager with an ounce of tactical nous, and channel their end of season heroics into a consistent campaign, they'll be a side to look out for next year.

Yeah total bulb.

Can't remember many under pressure managers throttling an opposition player, or telling his own fans to food off and die or giving the thousand yard stare to journo's when they ask questions. What a fooKin twt !.

And by the way, pressure is when you worry about the next pay check to feed your family not when you get paid millions in compo for acting a hard pick.

Hard to defend Nige but at least he ll be free of a chunt of a club and maybe he ll be more respectful to people who are just doing their job.

Probably not

I never realised that Nigel was so popular.

Yet reading the Leicester forums you would think that Pearson was a mixture of Clough,Ferguson and Moriniho all rolled into one. Yet one person mentioned Sean Dyche and the whole thread went mental to the extent off saying that they would rather have major heart surgery done by a labotomized baboon that have the Burnley manager as Pearson's replacement. What is wrong with Dyche? He did a decent job at Turf Moor considering the lack of investment,he was given.

Possibly because in every interview he sounds like the Cookie Monster.

"And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts. And I looked, and behold a pale horse, and his name that sat on him was Death, and hell followed with him."

Managers are the face of the club, they represent the brand and the whole ethos of the club, Pearson is a cnt and was bringing himself and the club in to disrepute weekly, regardless of results.
No difference to the idiot Daglish, another fool stick in 1978 who couldn't see that his mouthing off in interviews was always going to result in the sack, oh and his support of Suarez and his racist comments. I bet the owners of the club were dying every time the thick prick opened his mouth.

That's why Pearson got the sack, the brand equals money, equals sponsors, equals money. And people like Pearson don't understand money unless they are being given it for doing a sh it job.

Rant over.

Absolute shyte?

Cobblers. They were very competitive in every game that they played but we're being punished for not taking chances, the game at home to Man Utd apart when they won 5-3

And agreed they did play some magnificent football. The most incredible reversal of what was a lost cause. The manager has to take a lot of the credit for it. True, he handled some situations with journalists poorly but some of them deserve it too.

Their players attitude was always excellent. That says a lot about a manager too.

Stuff going on away from the field of play has cost him his job.

Taking a slightly different view on Pearson's sacking, the apparent front runners to replace him are Sam Allardyce, Bristol City's Steve Cotterill and Bolton's Neil Lennon.

Ouch.

2 of those would mean one of the relegation spots already filled. BF Sam would stand a chance, but would he have enough time to turn them from a half decent footballing side to a bunch of slogging thugs?

Erm yeah they were absolutely sh*t mate. All well and good being "competitive" but after 30 games they were bottom of the table, couldn't score goals and were leaking goals at the back. That's quite clearly the hallmark of a sh*te team. The Man United win is quite obviously an anomaly, even them lot up the road beat City at home in their brief stint in the Prem.

You can talk all you want about "attitude" and how Pearson deserves oh so much credit but Leicester were a sh*t team who went on a freak run. That's it.

Don't be so silly. Have a look at their results. I followed them closely having previously lived in Leicester in the early 1970 when they had an excellent First Division side

A final goal difference of -9 was also commendable for a team battling relegation and with only 55 goals conceded in 38 games it's hardly leaking goals.

Pearson certainly handled some of his media work very badly but deserves huge praise for keeping them up when no one gave them a chance in March. Their fans were also a big factor

Keep taking the tablets
