Surely a large reason for the surge in support for Jeremy Corbyn is due to the fact that he isn't lying, that he has been open and frank about his beliefs and opinions rather than spinning and triangulating like the rest of them?

If man evolved from monkeys why do we still have monkeys?

He s certainly genuine but so what?

He s honest enough to cwrch up to Arab groups looking to eliminate Israel, but being a Holocaust denier that s understandable.

Clearly Jez the new hero of the PS glitterati

Better than "working class" ",ordinary", "working man" .

Its a belief of mine anti semiticism is the last great racism that canbe tolerated.

Corbyn, filth that he and his like are, openly supported IRA , The Viet Cong and Hammas, mainly because they hate ISRAEL and as it was set up as a Jewish State ,one to escape persecution, its always been the cause celebre of Benn, Corbyn, and the Theatrical luvvies like the Redgraves. As Ive said before, if you criticise Arab aggression or in any way believe Israel has a right to exist , you will get barbs as you ll see very soon on this site- the home of TASS

I m on the fence on this one and will be glad when the new season starts..

Corbyn's support for Palestine puts me off but probably not enough to dismiss him.
His support of other groups (going back to the 1960s ffs) wanting to oust imperial overlords can be seen in a positive light. The USAs role in wars around the world and our puppy like support of them is shameful (which does not indicate support for other supremacist countries / groupings).
Cameron & his tory chums have openly supported the PKK and a whole host of radical/ extreme right wing and fundamentalist terrorist groups in Syria, Egypt, Libya and across the Arab peninsula. But that is OK because they are 'badder' than the other 'bad guys'.

What is obvious is most reaction on here, as elsewhere, is taken from what people have read in the media; a media that is out to crucify Labour and the left. We have a very right wing government that is supported by extremist views generated by a (largely foreign owner) right wing media.

If Corbyn became Prime Minister little would change - there would a slight shift in social policy (that would be beneficial to the weakest on society, less beneficial to the most privileged and not noticed by the vast majority) but there would be no noticeable shift in foreign policy as the government programme is undertaken by the same civil servant working under the same constraints irrespective of the make up of Westminster.

Disputed milosovic war crimes and Bosnian genocide

Openly admires Hugo Chavez who s wrecked Venezuela and also Castro and what he s done in Cuba.

Yet he is clearly a hero to some

To be fair, the Mail and Telegrap h have contained detailed instructions on how to vote for Corbyn regularly for some time now. They think it's amusing and let's be honest, their not too bright readership probably don't get the joke.

Dropped my missus off at Euston at 6am last week and went to the ticket office to use her refund voucher for a delayed train.

Three staff "serving". They wouldn't issue me with an advance ticket - 'it's only tickets for travel today until more staff arrive at 7.30'.

"There's nobody here!!!"

"Sorry - no advance tickets until 7:30. People are in a hurry to catch their trains"

"WHO? THERE'S NOBODY HERE. THERE'S NO QUEUE!!!"

"Sorry".

Christ on a f*cking bike.

At least everyone will know what it means. The one they replaced it with is meaningless drivel. The very epitome of New Labour.

PS - currently reading Rawnsley's "Servants of the People". I think you mentioned it on here recently. It's quite amusing in an "how can any government be this dysfunctional" kind of way.
