Morecambe and Wise were without doubt the best British comedy duo of all time! Though if you put them on stage now, they would most certainly get booed off! It's nothing to do with a generation thing as such, but comedy simply moves on. Can you imagine Charlie Chaplin, or Laurel and Hardy trying out for Britains got Talent!  |  |
