Europa League on 21:44 - Aug 27 with 2293 views | monmouth | Tossers. As usual, neither of the crap clubs that have to qualify can get anywhere near our performance. Hull last year and now all that effort to qualify (Soton; Ham made no effort) and then they surrender to a semi pub team. Hope they both go down anyway.

Europa League on 21:49 - Aug 27 with 2231 views | pikeypaul | I did think West Ham would struggle this season and put them in my 3 for relegation, was surprised they beat Arsenal on the opening week but Arsenal were pathetic. that day. I think Southamptons form is just a blip and they will finish a comfortable mid table posistion saying that Caulker is there now so they may go down also with his record for relegation. I can't understand this attitude at all. There are only 2 European competitionz, there used to be 3. For teams like west ham and Southampton the champions league is a virtual impossibility. So why wouldn't they give it their best shot.

More or less full strength that isn't it? I'm not familiar with numbers 14 and 15, all the others are regulars.

Not sure, most of them are familiar names. From the BBC report, it appears they just kept lumping it up to Pellè

8 of the starting XI tonight, started on Saturday against Watford, while 2 more starters, came on against Watford. So yep, quite a strong team.

14 is Romeu, they bought/loaned him from Chelsea. He could'nt get a game there. I believe he spent 2 or 3 years out on loan. Defensive midfielder to replace lad sold to man utd. [Post edited 27 Aug 2015 22:03]

And interestingly they are now banging on about not having a decent defensive midfielder who can carry the ball and create things. I mean if they had someone like Jack Cork that would surely fix their problem ...... PS - I know it's late, I work stupid shifts like yesterday 10am finishing at 2.30am today. But I get Sunday off to spend with the family. ( until 3pm ) 😂 [Post edited 28 Aug 2015 12:11]

The rest of Europe don't have the financial incentives for retaining PL status. Added to that you have West Ham changing stadiums at the end of the season and you can understand why they've put league survival ahead of progressing in Europe at the top of their priority list.

Their form last season was a blip. Lower mid table at best, if they're lucky.
