The worst thing about that Adam tackle was the way he tried to help the opponent to his feet and make it look an accident when he realised the linesman had seen him. I found that more distasteful than Hughes effectively calling out the linesman for making a good decision. | | | |

A group of blokes walk in to a pub. Before they have their first drink one of them is approached and asked for a favour. The guy agrees to do the favour for his old friend who he hasn't seen for several years and probably won't see again for a few more. They walk 1/4 mile to get a phone signal on a cold, rainy December night and the guy then wishes someone he's never met a happy Christmas and all the best for him his family. He then hands the phone over and makes his way back to the pub. I then had to tell the guy on the other end of the phone that yes that really was Mark Hughes he had spoken to and to add my best wishes as well. Being a Man Utd fan it made his Christmas, possibly his last, as had just had a large cancerous tumour removed.
