My Swans memories of Warren are of him being sent off as he was being taken off on a stretcher by that idiot (think his name was Attwell) who ref'd us against Everton recently.
I was privy to Marinez's assessment of him (Attwell) after the game and he gave him a scathing report and comments, something he never tended to do.
Attwell went on to be a disaster as a ref in the Prem, so much so that he was dropped, goodness knows what he is doing back! I he back as a full time ref.
The above mentioned game was the worst performance I've ever seen from a ref in all my years following football and poor old Warren, who was about to sign for us, never did. |  |
