Qatar world cup 10:05 - Oct 9 with 810 viewsperchrockjack

Would it not be a start for football to clean itself and rip up the agreement for this ludicrous decision which was obviously corrupt.

Same really should apply to Russia .
God only knows how much Plats and Sepp had for these decision

Yes. FIFA won't risk it though. They won't want the Qataris to expose the scale of their corruption or to sue the tits off them.

It would be the first step and an obvious one to clear this stench from football.

Fans world wide have been conned ,shafted and abused because of this open corruption and arrogance.

If the game had any decency, Qatar will be ripped up and Russia too and as Putin was so chummy with Blatter it would show tis dangerous murdering tw@t that he doesn't rule the world.

As eminently desirable as scrapping the Qatar cup would be, bear in mind that it was not the corrupt FIFA mob but the organisation itself which made the award. Scrapping the Russian event would also desirable, but again a massive law suit could follow and FIFA would be bankrupted and a new international body would have to be established. Oh

They would be sued for ridiculous money. I have no idea how much Qatar have spent since winning the bid, or how much they may have invested off the back of the future revenues a World Cup would bring.

Ideallogically I agree with you. Holding a tournament in a desert and disrupting all the major leagues mid season is mental. Can't see FIFA changing it though. Or Russia.

We should retrospectively take the World Cups off South Africa and Brazil too while we're at it.

It's done.

Last year there was momentum growing that if Qatar lost it that it would go to Australia. Germany was considered the only European country able to hold it due to holding recently. It seems to me that all that talk has gone away and that it will stay with Qatar.

Wouldn't Fifa have to pay Qatar humongous amounts of comp if cancelled? ,as stadiums are being constructed as we speak ,mind you if backhanders were being dealt they'd get fuk all is my guess

Im pretty sure that if investigated thoroughly, then bribes ,back handers, enticements used to win these events would counter these disgusting proposals.

ADDITIONALLY, all football nations should boycott these games as a protest and arrange alternative.

If this cant be done then football is indeed morally fecked and more will become disolutioned with it all.

Its seems a shame no countries have the guts to boycott
