Look at the highlights, my dog could have finished the last two.
Hardly demanding of a Prem start.
Congratulations to the boy all the same. I hope he continues to mine a rich vein of form

Feck me wish you would have mentioned you're dog earlier in the season we could have done with him then

Well he is a bit of a fox-in-the-box.

What's the chances we will be able to play him in FA Cup Saturday

It's a long time since our last appearance in third round the 1980's

Reads to me as if we draw a lower ranked team in the FA cup 3rd round he may be given a chance.

Would your dog have the positional sense to get in those areas? Because that's a massive part of a strikers game.

Fair play to him, not many hit a hatrick on their debuts, especially the very short amount of time he had with that side, what was it, one day? Two at the most.

And therein lies the difference in strikers -- having "the positional sense to get in those areas."

I'd add as equally important how the three balls were placed at his feet with the same positional sense.

About once a year, I read about ow some team in the P.L. gave a start to a teenager, who turned that start into a top-drawer career. Except for Davies [under some duress], I can't remember Swansea doing it in the past 15 years or so..

Your implication could have meant anything? Including selling him as you say!

One time, one day we will throw up a striker from the young players and come up with a real star, until he is tried we will never know if McBurnie is that player. If he gets on the pitch against WBA I wish him well and sincerely hope he is successful.

It is about time!.........Surely it must be soon?......The last players we had that came through as young un's whom were capable of hitting the back of the net for us were Robbie James and Alan Curtis? Now that is a very long time approx 35-40 years ago. I'm discounting Dean Saunders because yeah he did turn into a rather impressive striker but that was after he left.
