So if Chelsea can suffer from a "drastic loss of form" what makes you think Swansea should be immune ?.

So we shouldn't be too bothered by this, because comparatively, we aren't doing as badly as Chelsea?

No not really and if a team that has cost hundreds of millions of £ to put together can struggle, then any team can struggle.

They have a world class proven manager who will get that team to click sooner or later as well as shitloads of money to improve their team if they wanted to. We have neither

When he was the Charlton manager, some of their fans would slag him off all the time , wanting him sacked..... they got their wish and look where they are now.

Well of course any team can struggle. Doesn't mean they should just put their feet up because it's just one of those things. Difficult to suffer from Alan Curbishley syndrome when your manager is in his second full season.

Unless I have misunderstood, the Alan Curbishley syndrome was Charlton fans wanting him out because he was delivering mid table finishes season after season?

Wrong use of the word phenomena most certainly. But a valid point all the same. [Post edited 27 Nov 2015 16:53]

Have Swansea fans been struck by the "Alan Curbishley" phenomena. on 16:59 - Nov 27 with 1506 views | Joe_bradshaw | Curbishley was manager of Charlton for 15 years and did brilliantly to take a club of that size into the Premier League and keep them there with relative comfort. I understood what is referred to as the "Alan Curbishley"phenomena as being Charlton fans getting bored of the same old, same old and thinking the grass would be greener with a different manager. Garry Monk has been our manager for less than two years so I don't see the parallels. It may be that my understanding of the AC phenomena isn't correct though. I'm certainly not bored of the same manager getting mid table finishes in the PL. I am concerned about our recent results and particularly concerned about the manner in which they have been obtained.

It's nothing to do with time and everything to do with - as you pointed out, "the grass being greener on the other side".

Don't worry about it GM is going to work harder and the players are going to work harder and the board are already working hard. The only problem is you can work very hard at or on the wrong things and you can work very hard at or on the right things and up until now we seem to have chosen the "wrong things" to work on.
