No Jamie Vardy

Can't believe Jess Ennis is favourite. It is actually laughable when compared to the others on the list. The only thing I remember from this year about her is the Ched Evans fiasco.

edit: Murray is now favourite. His odds have slashed since I checked yesterday. Ennis 2nd.

Harsh on Ennis. She won the world championship less than a year after giving birth. Impressive really.

3/4 of the shortlist could perform feats the day after their children are born.

But not the day after a baby passed through one of their orifices.

Which makes it unfair to consider.

Fury and Hamilton shouldn't be up there.

Beating the crap out of someone isn't a sport, neither is driving a car.

Agree on Hamilton, but Fury was a long way from beating the crap out of Klitschko, it was more akin to Strictly Come Dancing, apparently Craig Revel Horwood still coming over all orgasmic after watching it

I think people underestimate how fit you need to be to compete in Motorsport (sport...clue is in the name). Many of the drivers are triathletes.

People consider things like bobsleigh a sport, skiing, tennis etc...they all require equipment to play. In Motorsport the equipment is the car. Yes the cars can vary depending on the team that put it together, but the same can be said about the quality of tennis racquets, football boots, etc etc.

That said, Hamilton is a bit of a knob though.

Poll: Decision day - who wins the PL title?
