£172,000 for a box at the Superbowl! 22:17 - Feb 7 with 1885 viewsskacrazy

Average ticket price is £3500 and £14,000 on the half way line.

Absolutely disgusting and I fear Football is going the same way. These days should be a chance for real fans of both sides to enjoy.

I travelled to the States a few years back (Ohio) and what I will say is that the people I met had enough of the Money in the NFL and started to support College Football.

Granted this wasn't everyone but it was a big percentage of the people I met.

Still following Dr's orders!

Yeah, there's no money in college football whatsoever... at least not for the (lol) students playing.

I went to a Titans game earlier this season. It was a home loss, a bore fest, and played out to a half empty stadium.

Sound familiar?

By coincidence it was against The Panthers.

With all the commercial breaks that would be sometime in the 2 quarter.

A good mate of mine has a season ticket for Texas A&M (go Aggies, or some such, I dunno). Anyway, his season ticket is triple the price of my one at the Liberty, and the view is pretty shoddy.

He does have a point though. NFL is even more ridiculous, and I know a few others who follow the college scene much more for that and other reasons.
