Should it be mainstream news though? It certainly should be if it was the chancellor facing these allegations, but his brother? It's just one of hundreds of similar cases that will be in court today.
The chancellor certainly isn't everyone's (anyone's?) cup of tea but the actions of a family member he has no control over shouldn't be used as a stick to beat him with, which is what the guardian is probably doing here a cynical person might suggest. | |
