Ben bucks the trend 14:14 - Feb 12 with 1734 viewsJethroJack

Well done Ben, thriving under Pochettino , getting around 50% game time with Rose.
Lots on here didn't/don't rate him, but he's improved since he left us.
The first player to do that in recent times.

(he went to my old school, see 😜)

Looked very good on MotD the other week, not sure what game it was but it was at the Lane. Bombing forward every opportunity and could have grabbed himself a couple of goals. It was and is a great deal when we got Sigurdsson back but would have loved to have kept hold of him.

It was Spurs v Watford...he got a lot of the ball in attack & worked Gomes a few times.
I'd have him back, as well as Joey.
Its encouraging news for Wales in Euros.

Sam Ricketts bucked the trend.
Ben Davies bucked the trend
Joe Allen bucked the trend
Wilf Bony bucked the trend

I think this "all players turn to shit when they leave the Swans" is losing it's credibility.

You went to ystalyfera? Explains a lot ;).

My brother played a year up, so was in the same school team as ben.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

I agree, always proud to see Ben and joey doing well. Less so Sam and Bony as not players we produced. You can add in Jazz and Macca at b'mouth. Looked like we would produce a player a year until we employed amateurs to wreck the curtis built production line. Better again now though but still nobody likely to come through any time soon.

Ironically he was never seen as the superstar. Always reliable, always willing to learn and, most importantly no big time pushy parents interfering in his progress.

Coincidence?

Laudrup saw him as a future left-side centreback.

Not sure I agree.

3 out of how many?

I've discounted Bony as he's barely playing and when he is, he's not scoring - 6 total so far...

Believe the Swansea Curse!
