Yes I see it and yes I hate it. I want it sorted as much as anyone in the city but if I vote Plaid I'll let the Tories in and they are no friends to the people of Wales.
I hope Plaid can be more specific about what they'd do for Swansea. If they are going to do that they can certainly have my list vote.
If you can see that this party spends all your taxes, all your family's money and gives it to Cardiff, why would you vote them back in? Why would you vote for a party which has overseen the ruin of Swansea city centre and given all the wealth to Cardiff? Yes, they have implemented policies, but if you're endeared by the left-centre policies, then Plaid are far more left than Labour.
Furthermore, Plaid have promised a bill which will spread investment around Wales, and stop the current situation of putting it all in Cardiff. See Langy's comments on the other thread. The Tories will never get in in Wales. It's a straight shootout between Labour and Plaid. If we have Labour, then Swansea will never stop being a slum.

Okay, if you're going to take it literally, then no, they don't spend every penny. But, they've just promised them £800m for a city deal (we don't get a penny by the way) on top of the billions spent on the Bay and city centre. When do we get equality? I'd like to point out by the way, that in no shape or form do I agree with Plaid, want independence, or think their anti-British rhetoric is at all appealing. But, I just don't see how we can vote for another 4/5 years of Welsh Labour neglect.

But he just said it's in their manifesto to make up the British union. It's like saying Farage isn't anti-European. It's a separatist mentality. If Wales [the people] want to stay in the Union then we will stay and Plaid will honour that, the aim is eventually for an independent Wales its one of many many things Plaid want, its no biggy either way, its up to the people. They are the opposite of creating differences, they are all things to all people, they are to nice, they don't wish to upset anybody, they are middle of the road. Don't mix up Plaid with me, i'm only a voter nothing to do with them in any capacity, I will get stuck into the old enemy in sporting terms and in rugby I will get stuck into Llanelli, Neath, Cardiff, joking regions etc, in politics I will get stuck into the English lead British Empire but i'm nothing to do with Plaid, in lots of cases they come from a different background and environment to me [apart from a couple of South Wales Red ladies], I don't speak for them. As you may have noted I can be confrontational if I think something is right I don't look for common ground, but those in Plaid are way to nicey nice and try and avoid controversy.
Because Trampie supports Wales and the Welsh and Welsh causes don't think Plaid are like me because in lots of cases they would not be.

There are some 'red' ladies in Plaid that might hold similar views to me and come from similar areas to where I originated from, as you frequently like to tell me lots of Plaid come from a totally different background to them.

You can continue to vote for austerity parties that are all out on the right [check out where they are on the 'political compass'], namely Labour, Conservatives, Lib-Dems and UKIP or you can vote for Plaid if you are in Wales, they offer something different they are very close to the middle ground politically [fractionally left of centre per Political Compass] as opposed to the other right wing loonie parties.
So you would be voting for something different if you voted Plaid [or Green or SNP].

They would not meekly take what they are given they will want parity per head with Scotland and they would have a mandate to say oi Westminster !
As regards spending it, they would choose to spread the investment around Wales, over time expect parts of Wales like the valley's to get richer and parts like Kaardiff to get poorer then in time as regards individuals expect the rich to get less rich and the poor to be not so poor.
As they say in certains parts of South Wales where a cloth was dipped in sheeps blood to fly the 'red' flag for the first time anywhere in the World, 'Up the Revolution'.

I said I would never vote Lib Dem again but I like the amount of work that Kirsty Williams has put in to local issues. I am sick of the fact that Labour has done nothing to pressure thuse in Cardiff bay to divert money away from the gravy train so unless someone new appears in my area with an answer that is where my vote goes.

The old saying that if you do the same thing why would you expect anything to change springs to mind (not the exact words but you get my drift).
The Welsh electorate continue to vote Labour in to power. It doesn't seem to matter what Labor actually do, people just vote for them. And sure enough nothing changes. There are lots of threads on this forum arguing for the WAG to spread investment around Wales instead of ploughing the huge majority of it into Cardiff and the South East. But, if they are voted back in that says to them that they are doing the right thing so they'll continue.
If you agree that investment should be spread around Wales then vote. And if you agree that that should happen vote for Plaid. They have stated that they will not support ANY government which wants to put the WHOLE of the Welsh road infrastructure budget for two years into the M4 relief road. Which is just another huge boost to the Cardiff region. Both Labour and the Conservatives have stated that this is what they will do.
It won't change if you vote for Labour, it may (will ?) change if you vote Plaid. You know it makes sense.
