Sounds very promising. We're nobodies to Adidas but will be a big deal for Joma in the U.K. and they'll be desperate to get things right with us and get other English clubs interested eventually. The last 2 season's kits have been pathetic and the home kits have been horrendous those seasons (centenary year was great). Bring it on. |  | | |

Under Armour or New Balance would have been good-Nike or Puma we would just be 'off the shelf'.
Joma will be interesting- the Sampdoria (h and a) and the Espanyol are interning designs with the chest hoops. Most striking-not least because it is pink is the Palermo shirt (no one argues with sicilians) which is plain but has the club badge (a dove) embossed in) -could we get similar in white with a swan?
Perhaps we will not sell as much leisure wear but let's be honest Addidas managed 3 nice shirts (both centenary and the red/black away) and the rest were no better than OK. | | | |

This season has seen a bunch of teams us included wearing virtually identical kits from Adidas as they only care about their big clubs - Real, Man Utd, Chelsea.
Far better that we should switch to a manufacturer for whom we are the big club, and in Joma terms, we are huge.
The other names mentioned (Under Armour, New Balance) already have their big clubs so again we would be an afterthought.
There are things that we can criticise our commercial team for, but I can't see that this is one of them. We will undoubtedly be receiving a great deal more money to wear the kit as well as their flagship team. | | | |
