That is frightening. Although I'd rather him at WHU with Carroll than ManC with Aguero.

Let's see how good Kingsley really is when under massive pressure. Also, it's one thing Amat playing against a Liverpool team with one eye on Europe, let's see how he gets on in the heat of battle away from home (admittedly alongside either FF or Kyle 'penalty waiting to happen' Bartley) No bad thing for either club or country imo

Yep. I know there are league positions and possibly Guidolins job at stake, but as far as the club goes the next two games are essentially meaningless. We aren't going to learn anything about Ash or Taylor, or Gylfi for that matter. We will by playing Kingsley and giving Amat a bit of game time. We should never bend over backwards for Wales, but there is no harm in leaving them out for these two games, it would probably benefit the club, the country and the players.

You are, of course, entitled to your view. However, those of us who also support our national team in all its competitions, including warm up games before the historic European campaign. are proud to have our team players included. This and without any petty grudges over the hundreds of pounds we pay towards SCFC season tickets.

Has he been picked by France? Seriously, there is a month before Wales play, plenty of time for rest, although I’d like to see SK get a couple of games at left back.

It's not just for the sake of the Wales team. Players that don't get a summer break invariably suffer during the next season. The more rest these players get now during meaningless domestic fixtures the better. Swansea City will benefit.

"Plenty" is relative. It's a competitive sport and if the opposition is in better shape the job becomes more difficult.

Amat has played "in the heat of battle" before. United, Chelsea etc. and always done well (except as a left-back).

The smart ones rotate. The bigger clubs with bigger squads do so all the time, as they are used to continuous congested fixture lists. We've not got the quality in depth to deal with injuries/sluggishness from key players, or the effects of a disrupted pre-season. We ought to take every advantage we can get.
