Any thoughts on the case itself Tummer?

A blackman was arrested for running. Screamed a lot during the arrest and was put into a van. Police failed to follow lots of procedures that they are supposed to follow. Blackman comes out of van terribly injured, with his spine 80% severed, three broken vertebrae and an injured voice box. He dies soon after.

Why is "white" police on black offender mentioned in this case?

Seems, there is a 50% black on black, 50% white on black argument here. Unless you class Miss White in the "white" category as well.

Surely this is more a case of possible brutality by the police in general.

If it were a run of the mill everyday boring case of normal police brutality then it wouldn't have hit worldwide headlines and reverend Wesley west and all the other reverends wouldn't have anything to pretend to be angry about.

Seems there is a racial bias in USA law enforcement to using excessive force....but it isn't as you would expect.

Higher number of caucasians are killed than any other race by police there in USA. Now you can expect that trend due to population percentage make up, but when you look at percentages of violent crimes committed, it is a surprise to see deadly force is seemingly used more readily on caucasians than other key race groups.

Now you can argue that the numbers are far too high, (I personally could not as don't know the intricacies of each case), but statistics don't back up the media's perception.

As always, I'm sure there's a lot more to the story than that.

A black judge found the officer not guilty, and multiple black officers were also involved. We'll have to see if those details are enough to keep Baltimore from rioting and looting this time.
