I've no sympathy with Labour they turned to the dark side decades ago and now reap what they sow, the disingenuous attacks and spin that they are using on Corbyn they have used on a reasonable sensible left of centre party like Plaid Cymru for decades so good riddance to Labour they deserve what they are getting..
The Red Tories need to breakaway and form their own party a new SDP, Corbyn gets attacked by the Conservatives and the Conservative press and the Red Tories within his own party, but he knows he has support from lots of the grassroots and at this stage is toughing it out, if Corbyn wins a leadership election again then surely the Red Tories will have to form their own party, can Labour just kick them out for being Tories anyway ? | |

No but he'd certainly expect Labour to have a viable candidate who would have some chance of representing him through government - and perhaps had the tiniest notion of what normal hard-working people are concerned about. It always intrigues me how 'Blairite' has become derogatory foul language amongst the new breed of Labour supporter. A man who won 3 elections and saw Britain have a Labour government consistently from 1997 to 2010, compared to a man, Corbyn, who is totally unelectable and so promises absolutely no chance of another Labour government. Curious.
Lovely letter in yesterday's Telegraph: "Sir, why are Labour supporters complaining about their lacklustre referendum campaign, when they elected a leader so lacking in lustre?"

I think if we're honest Lisa he was a very reluctant remain campaigner. His heart was always out of Europe. To be honest he should have worn his heart on his sleeve like Frank Field did and campaigned leave instead. Fat lot of good it's done him backing remain. His MP's want to kick him out anyway..... | |
