I can see a muslim fireman character added to the cartoon in the future just to please the 'not all muslims are terrorists' group http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36900310 [Post edited 27 Jul 2016 18:10]

If ever there was an overreaction to a story on social media this has been it. Firstly, hardly anyone complained and some sort of Moslem leader when asked to react said something like 'I don't know what they were thinking' which is hardly declaring a fatwa. Secondly, it was obviously deliberate and I'm not surprised if someone did find it offensive. The BBC have probably had more complaints about the Swans being shown last on Match of the Day - bloody good job they haven't had a Swans scarf walked over in a cartoon - there'd be blooming ructions on here, and no one would think it was odd. And anyone that thinks that ordinary Moslems are more offended by Fireman Sam than they are about the sickening beheading of a Priest is an utter moron.

Oh right I see, another load of old religious shit. Shame they didn't have the Bible and the Koran and any other fictional fairytale on fire and a whole heap of multi ethnic firemen all pissing on them to put them out.

Is he trying to radicalise Norman, James, Sarah and Mandy. Also that Trevor is always taking them out on "educational" bus trips and he doesn't look indigenous to South Wales to me. I hope the security services are keeping a close eye on pontypandy.
