Hey Dicky, I've noticed that footballers are far more approachable once they're retired.When they're still playing and being recognized they seem to think they're Charlie big Potatoes but as soon as its over and the adulation and respect goes then they become your best friend.I'm not saying they'e all the same but it is something I've noticed.Te best I ever met playing and retired was the 'Flying Postman'.Talking to him you'd think you was the footballer and him the fan.I know it gets banded around willy nilly but he really is a great bloke.
