Available on loan by all accounts, surely would be a no brainier if the price was right. Good stop gap for the season, improvement on what we've got and give us a chance to scout the right man for long term
I brought this up on the long-running transfer thread, indeed a very intriguing option.
The fine details on the terms of the loan would be critical. We'd really be up a creek if he has a couple of good games and then gets recalled right back to Liverpool, like we did with Barrow last season.

There are different rules between PL clubs Tummer as the loan window closes at the same time as the transfer window.
So can recall only in January or end of season (depending on agreement). If a fee is involved it's usually for a season (don't know whether those are the rules or just by agreement). Dyer last season couldn't be recalled at any time, Ki could be in the January window but wasn't because of lack of notice or similar by memory.
It's a bit concerning that we still haven't sorted this though. Fingers crossed.

I believe it is now the same for our brethren in the lower leagues also. There is no longer an emergengy loan option that they can access between September and January
He's a bit dodgy though isn't he? Not seen much of him to be fair but that seems to be the feeling I have about him from his time in Liverpool. He was rated really highly at one point though, wasn't he captain of PSG at 19 or something like that?
yescomeon - yes, Sakho most certainly comes with a few red flags. He's always allegedly been a huge pain in the butt, even as a kid at PSG, and even though they made him a captain for a while when he was 17 (which was a first for Ligue 1).
It sounds like part of the reason Klopp wants to loan him out is that he might not want to deal with Sakho disrupting the dressing room if he isn't a regular on the first team.

Sent home early from their pre-season tour after turning up late a few times for meals/training & nearly missed a flight by all reports - can look top class but prone to the odd horlicks moment.
That said if he was up for it he'd be first choice for us.
He played very well for Liverpool last season and was missed in the Europa Final, he'd be first choice here providing his head is right, if not he's best left alone for me.

Can't pass a drugs test. Can't pass a football. Somehow passing for a premier league player.
I just did a comparison between Sakho and Williams last season 55.14 passes per game compared to 50.75 from Williams, 88% pass completion 85% from Williams, average pass length 18.95m for Sakho and 23.11m for Williams. Pretty similar really.
Also has 3.23 aerial duels won per game compared to 1.97 from Williams.
Until he fell out with Klopp he was first choice for Liverpool & first choice for France. He may look ungainly but he's better than our centre half's - as long as his attitude is right.

Its that last bit which is the concern though, one bad apple etc, etc.
