Ystradgynlais 17:24 - Aug 25 with 2280 views | perchrockjack | Is a great place to live. Picked up a brochure last weekend and seems attractive area. I've always simply driven past to Cray and beyond

Ystradgynlais on 17:35 - Aug 25 with 2264 views | Flashberryjack | Ystradgynlais is very nice indeed, I'd recommend you call in next time you're passing. Especially with all the flowers outside the local shops, there are a couple of nice coffee shops that you can sit outside (weather permitting) and ample and easy parking in the large car park, and it's all on the flat. The villagers and council do take pride in where they live unlike the sh*te hole a little lower down the valley.

Ystradgynlais on 18:11 - Aug 25 with 2160 views | DafyddHuw | Yes, Ystradgynlais is well tidy. Just at the foot of the Brecon Beacons too. Lovely countyside. Property cheap as chips (relatively). And they've got the Welfare - used to be the Miners Welfare Hall. Now shows films, beams stuff from that London, RSC, Old Vic etc. Ridiculously cheap prices. And you can take a drink in from the bar if you're so inclined. What's not to like?

You call it what you want, but it still doesn't make it Glanrhyd Gurnos Rd, Ystradgynlais, Swansea SA9 2JP.

Agree with you council wise. The old Tick Tock was officially the Gurnos Works, but the big question is did you find your way back most Sundays without a Tom Tom

Ah!! the Tick Tock, bloody hell there were some women working there back when it was in full swing. As for finding my way home on Sunday, that's no problem, I have a very understanding missus, always picks me up in the car, after she drops off Tom.
