But on that showing, you can't really disagree.

We will have to improve enormously to avoid the drop this year.

Well a few teams don't look any great shakes but they don't seem to condemn them quite so readily. There's not a lot of ammunition to fight back with today though.

It's the broken clock syndrome.

They'll keep on saying it and they'll be right one day.'

On today's performance (and hull last week) they may have called it right this year.

Somebody will get it right one day.

Truth is it's hard to argue against given we've so how managed to weaken ourselves by a combination of not recruiting, replacing and upgrading in our squad. We clearly some bite and creativity into our midfield, we haven't. We lost our club stalwart and centr half. Have we adequately replaced his experience and quality...No! We need to add strikers, we we've done that...sort of. Yes we've got llorente and Baston, but we've lost gomis, Eder, paloschi and ayew. I compare llorente to Eder and Baston to gomis (replacement wise), so where's ayew replacement? There is none!

Then, when you consider that we haven't the usual summer activity of at least trying to improve your squad you can see where we've failed along with the failure of last years recruitment.

As has been said on this board since being in the EPL, we are one bad recruitment window from relegation. Well we somehow g away with last year and you'd think those that run the club would have learned from their mistakes. I'm not sure they have.
