Thinking about it , the Aberdare , Llanelli fixture was a very apt fixture for a Swansea legend to be making his debut , considering that it is one of the the oldest footballing fixtures in welsh football . Aberdare formed in 1893 , llanelli formed in 1896 . Swansea not joining the party until a couple of decades later , being a very strong egg chasing town at the time .
