Championship transfer record broken? 14:57 - Aug 30 with 1431 viewsAnotherJohn

The fee seems to be around £15m.

Looking at what teams such as Aston Villa are spending any club relegated to the Championship is going to have to fight to get back.

If a Championship side with ambition is prepared to spend that, then imo. Nathan Dyer would be an excellent buy at say £5/6 mill.

That's not to get back, that's to try and avoid relegation. Same points as Cruddiff = pile of crap.

Edit - bloody hell I've just seen who it is! £15m for Jonathan Codpiece?? No wonder they are up to their armpits in shit. That's insane money.

They and Newcastle have spent well though , Comes to something when villa probably have a better back line than us

That back-line did them a power of good at Bristol City.

I wouldn't swap a single player with Aston Villa or Newcastle, except Fernandez for Lascelles.

Chester? Amavi at lb and not much between there rb and kyle.

I have seen enough of Fede to see he is not developing. 1 foot forward to steps back with him

Unless it's a £15M deal if villa win the World Cup then their bloody mental in the face. No wonder Huwberts in a sweat over transfers
