New York: America's busiest city 22:05 - Aug 30 with 842 viewsJackfath

A most enjoyable informative programme on Bbc2 this evening. Ensured I didn't get vilified by the usual suspects. Watch it on bbc I player.

Stop being so sensitive

An excellent programme to be fair. Good to see a behind-the-scenes look at big cities, especially when you have some affinity to the place. I've spent a lot of time in NYC over the years and it is a vibrant city.

Well worth a visit if you've not been.

I thought the programme was poor, the content was poor and the presenters were poor.

You probably would've preferred a documentary about Rhondda, or Ferndale.

That was crap, so disjointed. You saw three routes in to New York simultaneously and I couldn't make heads or tails of them. The Staten Island Ferry has some of the best views you could see going to work but they showed sod all about it. The presenters weren't the best either. Michael Portillo's journey by train in America is far superior and the first 3 episodes where he's in New York knock this new series for six (or should that be a home run ?) if it's not on catch up it's on repeat quite often.

Poll: England, General Election: How are you going to vote ?
