HJ is not concerned any more. We have to be competing in the transfer window or we will struggle in the league. Money has turned his head. If he'd really wanted, Allen and Bony were gettable. Not happy. Standing still. Worried .

No, he really doesn't care about the club he's supported all his life and saved from death and helped them on the journey to the PL. I'M sure he'd love to see us suffer a series of relegations to non league football!
Got his cash, secure job. S'all his cares about

Don't blame our new owners they are relying on the DOF who has done such sterling work in the past, unfortunately, what they didn't realise is that the past is past, its the future that is the concern.
Spot on.
Personally I feel sorry for the Americans. Don't think they know a great deal about football regardless of involvement with DC United.
Have done the obvious and to them sensible thing in retaining HJ, from the outset the club must have appeared to be seem a sure thing as investments go. Guaranteed safety, huge income happy days.
As, throughout Planet Swans, many will give thanks for what has been achieved these past 12 years, amazing. The here and now though, the structure of the club isn't fit for purpose.
We haven't gone on to 'the next level' we have and are going backwards. Best hope is that there will be 3 teams worse than us. Personally I will be amazed if we survive.
Don't agree with this, if you look at FG's success and track record in italy at the smaller clubs, he was known for finding and developing talent, then being forced to sell and asked to repeat the process again.he would have had his targets no doubt, he is probably having to pay for his Poloschi recommendation, although he was far better than many of HJ's recent buys.
BUT in Italy he had a very good scouting department . Here...meh!

To the OP as others have mentioned in other threads... this is a typical HJ transfer period. It is worrying but "normal".
Groundhog Day in fact. He failed to get all of GM's squad together at the start of his reign. Same width ML where he failed to get any of his targets after stopping Toots doing the job. Let's not talk about his abject failure to bring in a manager after sacking Monk. Good job Frankie's agent bailed him out or our league status would have gone out the window with it's ass on fire. Huw lacks knowledge of the game and is as pedestrian as it comes when attempting to secure deals.

To help the other guy out,
Help your fellow man.

Apparently he outsmarted Daniel Levy once...
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
