"Freedom for Britain, death to traitors." I'm far from convinced that assassin is mad at all.

We are being systematically f****d over at every turn.

Bomb them, and then bomb them some more! Drive them from their lands and their homes, so that they can come here to our shores and exact their revenge!

The NHS is struggling in Wales because there's a pack of c*nts in the WAG in charge of it.

Dar you and senhin are both right. Unfortunately ,as to the drug side, it is he who correct.

We've all been conned by capitalism. We were told competition would mean lower prices and that wealth would trickle down.
Well when a nationally funded health service can't afford the treatment but a premier league footballer earns enough in ONE WEEK to pay for it, does anybody really believe the government/system is working for us plebs?
Because I guarantee if it was someone rich and/or famous the money for this treatment would be found, never mind if that person could afford it themselves. And if old Carwyn Jones needed it, he'd get it too.

It's absolutely criminal.

'Trickle down.' Oh my aching sides.

The mad thing is that we blindly accept this as somehow the norm. The Bank of England notes we use every day (the private promissory notes) are literally backed by nothing but our 'trust' in them. (That's from the BoE site) Not gold, or any other tangible commodity, like they used to be pre 1933.

So, we 'trust' a monetary system that siphons off a billion pounds a month to pay our criminally contrived national 'debt?'

We're f*cking mugs folks. Utter mugs. Maybe we deserve everything we get.

Indeed we are mate. What can we do about it?

Maybe every single one of us should cease paying taxes. Starve the beast.

I've just spent sometime in hospital on a surgical/elective/general ward(s) - they move you around like deckchairs on theTitanic..

What I saw in each and every area was the amount of people who should not be hospital at all:

- the old and infirm, who simply need either care at home package, or a residential home care place, there are none available, no resource and no funding for these suporting infrastructures. Hence they stop in a hospital bed for months. literally.

- people with mental health problems, again who need specialist and targetted care, there is precious little of this anywhere in this country. Its shocking.

Nurses spent most of their precious time dealing with these people leaving others unattended. You get the absolute minimum care these days as they are so so desperate to move people out, except for those above, mind I was glad to get out in the end even if it was in a wheelchair as I couldn't even stand (listen to the violins!)

The point is though that vast amounts of money and staff resource are being hoovered up by people who need care in specialised areas, the NHS is not a B&B and the nursing staff do not have the specialism to deal with these people and the root cause (one of anyroad) of the problem. We should nationalise aftercare/support and get these out of the NHS completely.

Oh and don't get me started on private paying patients who take up NHS resource and beds either. Consultants are trousering shedloads of coin on this little scam, they should definitely be accountable and transparent in their private earnings.

I could go on but I really hope that this mum gets her medicine but I suspect many of the reasons I have stated means she has to resort for help from strangers on the internet. What a farking shambles.

If the NHS is already struggling and these drugs cost 150k for one person, it should be obvious why they aren't readily available.

80% of immigrants have HIV and are claiming free drugs on the NHS - fact.
We cant cope .

100% of all refugee/aslyum seekers who have HIV are treated at public expense. Taking figures from a Guardian report the number of Africans alone tops 21,700. That's £25k per head, per annum, for life for the [anti-]retroviral drugs.

I've yet to come across a single instance where treament was withheld because it cost too much. It seems to me there is one rule for those who pay into the system, who make a contribution, but quite another for those who batten onto it.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

To answer the first question, the money should be spent on saving lives here, not destroying lives abroad.
On this immigrant thing, this is why so many have turned against immigration. When you work/pay taxes and you can't get funding to save your life but people who have paid nothing in can, something is wrong.
I honestly think there should be a new rule regarding health treatment, immigrants only gt immediate life saving treatment. Long term healthcare should only be given if you can pay for it or when every British tax payer has the care they need.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Surely even 'The S*n' wouldn't run such a story. Do we have a source?
