Shimon Peres 14:56 - Sep 30 with 477 views | perchrockjack | How unsurprising to not see a thread on a great leader and one who tried to broker peace with the enemy. A man missed.

Absolutely. The world needs more people who are willing to put differences aside to try and heal deep wounds in society. Interesting though that when Mr Corbyn suggests entering into dialogue with our enemies that he's shouted down as some sort of lunatic and terrorist sympathiser, or am I missing something? Oh FFS you think talking to Isis is going to help?

Shimon Peres on 16:19 - Sep 30 with 407 views | BarrySwan | I'd like to see Jeremy Corbyn ( and John McDonnell) travel out to talk to ISIS.
Shimon Peres on 16:19 - Sep 30 with 405 views | perchrockjack | Darren is correct here. Isis isn't an organisation to talk to. I was simply suspicious of corbyn vis a vis IRA . Still am. HAMAS too.

Because to enter into a meaningful dialogue would be a search for accomodation, it presupposes there to be some point where a mutuality of interest and sentiment could occur. Only a lunatic could envisage a confluence with an Islamic death cult such as ISIS.

Shimon Peres on 16:47 - Sep 30 with 382 views | Headmaster | Corbyn never said we should talk to Isis. That was the 'electable' Owen Smith.

Smith made mention of "talks," Corbyn of "back channels." Semantics, really.
