BETEAST on 00:49 - Oct 24 by Nookiejack | Don't bookies these days only make money on the Fixed Odds Betting Terminals (the crack vocaine of gambling). Don't see many BEtEast shops on the high streets - especially in poorer areas where Bookies shops are prevelant. |
A considerable amount of their money is made via accumulators.

BETEAST on 17:27 - Oct 23 by Rogerstone | I've heard all sorts of rumours. Beteast refusing to pay. Financial discrepancies in the club. Key players being put up for same in Jan. Trouble is they are just rumours and it feeds the fire Perhaps we should have a rumor thread! I did notice yesterday that there were quite a few empty seats in the directors box |
Do we have any players that would command a significant fee? Siggy has just had a new contract and I guess his value will have taken a hit this season. Fabianski probably. Can see either of our strikers being sold. The rest of them are essentially just PL squad players

BETEAST on 19:51 - Oct 23 by Dr_Winston | Been pondering the same. Their lack of communication with the Trust has done them few favours, but I can't help wondering if they're just as pissed off by certain things going on as we are. It'll be interesting to find out just how much they knew about the shareholder agreements before the takeover for example. Potential legal action from the Trust may turn out to be the least of the departing shareholders worries. |
Well that would be music to my ears.

Thick as proverbial mince. His acolytes have magically disappeared off here since Thursday nights announcement... Then again he may have eaten them...

Well didn't appear to be any due diligence with regards to the ultimate beneficial owners behind Steve and Jason. So why would there be any due diligence in determining whether BEtEast had enough funds behind them to cover the sponsorship? Interesting if the sponsorship was in the EBIDTA/EBITA forecasts of the selling shareholders - then if any money is held in ESCROW to cover forecasts that don't materialise - then selling shareholders will lose proportion of their ESCROW.

Everyone gets a technical hitch occasionally. I've had quite a few in my time.
