Don't bookies these days only make money on the Fixed Odds Betting Terminals (the crack vocaine of gambling). Don't see many BEtEast shops on the high streets - especially in poorer areas where Bookies shops are prevelant. |

I've heard all sorts of rumours.
Beteast refusing to pay. Financial discrepancies in the club. Key players being put up for same in Jan.

Been pondering the same.
Their lack of communication with the Trust has done them few favours, but I can't help wondering if they're just as pissed off by certain things going on as we are. It'll be interesting to find out just how much they knew about the shareholder agreements before the takeover for example.
Potential legal action from the Trust may turn out to be the least of the departing shareholders worries. |

Well didn't appear to be any due diligence with regards to the ultimate beneficial owners behind Steve and Jason.
So why would there be any due diligence in determining whether BEtEast had enough funds behind them to cover the sponsorship?
Interesting if the sponsorship was in the EBIDTA/EBITA forecasts of the selling shareholders - then if any money is held in ESCROW to cover forecasts that don't materialise - then selling shareholders will lose proportion of their ESCROW. | | | |
