Next 6 games on 19:48 - Nov 18 with 1916 views | LeonWasGod | Yep. If we don't pick up points at our 'usual' rate by Xmas, we'll be left needing a Leicester-type miracle. Our usual average season rate is about 1.4 pts/game. So yep, 10 or 11 points needed. No pressure 🙈 Edit - i can't count. At least 8 or 9 pts needed I reckon. 3 wins, 2 wins & 2-3 draws, or 1 win & 5 draws! [Post edited 18 Nov 2016 19:52]

I know I'm stating the obvious, but there you go,thats how it seems to me.

I think i worked out we need 1.4 per game from now on. Which coincidentally has been pretty much our average in the PL. So it CAN be done (if we play as well as we used to - so needs a HUGE change).

Yeah agree, but as you say our performance's need to be much much better, also sponge Bob needs to set us properly, and get the players up for it,which unfortunately seems beyond him.

We lost our most productive goal scorer and our best defender mind and haven't replaced them with anything like the same quality.

It will be very interesting to see how he sets us up tomorrow. It could be anything, but hopefully lessons have been learnt from United. He needs to find his preferred team soon and give them a few run outs together otherwise they'll continue to look like strangers.

I agree about the next 3, get nothing out of them, then we got Sunderland at home, lose that and we could be about 10 points adrift...feck it,I'm cracking open another bottle of Bavaria.

We are fecking doomed We have arguably our weakest squad is since being the PL,no central midfield,no decent defenders, wingers who don't know how to cross a ball into the only decent players we have in llorente and baston We have sold arguably our 2 best players and not repacked them We got rid of a man (very disgracefully) who was our only hope and replaced him with an imbecile who loves the sound of his own voice I refer you back to my second comment,we are doomed Ps me and the eldest are still going tomorrow because we love the swans and what's good to know is we aren't expecting anything apart from a good hiding

I disagree Guidolin was our only hope. He did a below average job yet is put on a pedestal by many supporters because we were a little nasty in how we sacked him. He fully deserved to be sacked and he is fortunate he was even offered the job in the Summer. There were plenty of managers capable of being recruited if tempted with a big £5m bonus for keeping us up or something similar. I think the job is too difficult now, even if we were to sack Bradley today. The best teams struggle to attain the sort of points per game ratio we require from here on in, so what hope do we have with this embarrassment of a squad.

There are lots of teams bunched up in 10 to 14 points who can easily slide out of form and/or get a Swans-like run of early seasons fixtures. All is not lost. Pisses me off all this negativity. Support the team.

Please print the comment off at least 5,times and pin to the door of the boardroom. The main culprits of the negativity should get the message and may wish to take their own copies. At least £60 million seems to have been taken out of the budget of a small club. How did anyone think that was going to work out? Don't bother sticking one on Bob's door. Hopefully he won't be here long enough to read it. [Post edited 19 Nov 2016 7:26]

Keeping this squad up shouldn't be mission impossible for a semi-competent manager. The football luddites (and I will include our owners in that) will point to the points total, but it was pretty clear Guidolin was finding the best system and combinations for the players at his disposal. There is no doubt in my mind he would have kept us up. Not to say he was the greatest manager ever, but easily capable of hitting our rather unambitious (in the summer) target of 17th. I think it's well retrievable at the moment too, Bob has to either shape up or sod off very quickly though.

I wouldn't say Guidolin did a below average job. Garry Monk left an absolute disaster on leaving the club, Guido did a cracking job in keeping us up, we would have done the same this season aswell but this Bradley guy has not got a clue what he's doing. We're f*cked

I disagree. From what I remember, most games under Guidolin were very similar to what we're witnessing this season. Getting comprehensively outplayed by every team, hoping to steal a goal from a set piece or mistake. We had a player last year (Ayew) who was capable of scoring from absolutely nothing which kept us up. This year we don't. We stole a few results like Everton away and Curt had a few too, but we never looked remotely close to a solid looking team. We always looked like a team that was scraping it out at the foot of the table.
