That's like saying if a Palace fan used a drone to deflect the ball into the net you'd have lost.
Ok, you were lucky with the pens, but that's football. Sometimes you need a bit of luck.
Rather than adopt your usual negative view, look at the positives. Your defence looked fairly solid, Taylor aside. Rode your luck at times,sure... Your team showed fight, something they'd not done for a long time. The Zaha goal was a stunner, having played so well your team could have quit, as they would have done under Bradley. Even holding on for a draw could have been something in the players minds.
No, regrouped, rolled their socks up, got stuck in. Hate Fer due to his antics against us, but I loved, just loved the way he got into Tompkins face after his spat with Dyer - told me your side now has an attitude - f*ck with him, you f*ck with me...
You got a very much deserved winner and played out the final minutes very impressively.
Regardless of the luck on the penalties, you have a lot to now be happy about from that performance. | |

We got away with exactly the same second half performance (bar the last 5 minutes) as West Brom, or Everton etc.
Siggy and Llorente were gone missing. Taylor was a sheer abomination and we were getting roasted.
