Never said he was. Roberts works with both first team and development goalkeepers, so bringing in another coach at youth level might (hopefully) suggest a reshuffle taking place (or perhaps Andrew Sparkes has moved on).
Where is it confirmed he's with the u23s, though? Cambridge United only claim he's going to work "with all levels" here. | | | |

Fifth paragraph in that original link:

I didn't realise Roberts worked across - so maybe be something in it, or just building up the development side to let Roberts focus on the 1st team.
