So, West Brom sold Berahino for £12m yet they could have sold him a year ago to Newcastle for £24m. Great business sense there!

Our transfer income does not go back into our first team squad.

I would live Wilf back. Captain Wilf.

Stoke probably want to offload so worth a bid to get him back ... he'd help out at Centre Back too!

From Wilf's point of view, if he does leave Stoke, he can either go overseas or to the only club in this country where he has been a success and try to rekindle what's left of his reputation.

It could be a case of come to us and reignite his career. I hope so anyway.
If he goes anywhere else he'll just drift down the leagues of European football - that would be such a sad waste of a great footballer.

This is what I was thinking.
Will started off as a defender, maybe that's where we should play him, if we were to buy him (if we had a DoF who knew what the F**k they were doing!!)
Certainly was very strong for us at corners/ free kicks. And a pretty reasonable leader from what I remember.

Very wasteful as a striker though, but playing forward maybe just the sort of holding player that Borja needs and Nando would love alongside him.
Will plays a lot of very sublime passes through.

Even a cheeky loan bid going in?
Normally I used to say no when ex players were mentioned, but the way Beaky has bought dross in the last 5 or 6 windows and not replaced good players he's sold at massive profits with similar, then ex players we know are good will suffice.

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

It leaves him overweight and on the Stoke bench.

Getting on the Slimming World diet and training with the Army in Brecon in his spare time.
Soon be a lean, mean goal-scoring machine !

He'd rather stay at home eating Chinese food and counting his money.
