Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

The referee is Anthony Taylor. We haven't won a home game with him in charge: http://www.football-lineups.com/referee/341/Games/?fo=0&ft=Swansea

Well, looks like we did win our last league game with him, at Everton last season.

Before that, he was in charge when Liverpool won 1-0 at Anfield last season on that brutal handball call on Neil Taylor. I forget if he made the call, or if it was the linesman.

Much more infamously, he was also the ref when we drew 1-1 with QPR at Loftus Road on New Years Day, 2015. That was the one where their goalkeeper got away with a handball outside the box that should have been an easy straight red. Later on, one of our players (maybe Routledge?) got sent off on a 2nd terrible decision that was later rescinded. That was the one where Bony came off the bench to get the late equalizer in his final action as a Swan.

Poll: Biggest signing so far in January? (just curious what Planet Swans thinks)

Must win, no excuses. We can do this.

Also of note: our last 3 meetings with Burnley have all been very gritty 1-0 Swans victories, and all 3 required spectacular diving saves in the 2nd half by Fabianski. 3 of Fab's best days since he's been with the club have come against Burnley.

Sent off Albert against CP in a terrible decision.

The two QPR decisions were shocking

The Liverpool pen at Anfield was the Lino.

Otherwise, all I remember about him is his shiny bald pate.

By the way: Our away form is precisely the same as Burnley's.

It's an illusion that Burnley's away form is poor - it's just that they've had a tough sequence of matches against the stronger teams and that's now going to even out as they play weaker teams. That doesn't really concern us because they aren't in any danger of relegation but they are a tough team and are definitely going to start winning matches away from home.

Just to doublecheck this, I looked at the away fixtures that both teams have played and the results are identical (Played 8, Lost 8). Both Burnley and the Swans have lost away to Chelsea, Leicester, Southampton, West Brom, Stoke, Spurs, Man City and Arsenal.

So it's going to be tough, but I'll go 2-1 to us (Llorente and Baston for us; Sam Vokes for them).

I had a great away day (as normal at QPR) for that game.

Going for a hard fought 1 - 0 home win.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

We are one of the few teams to win at their ground this season and we have beaten them in all PL games. We are now well organised and playing at home; should be a reasonably comfortable win !

C'mon Bony shoot !!!!

I'm thinking a routine 2-0 with a couple of scares.

So god alone knows what will really happen as I don't think I've ever been right.
