They've been great Jenkins signings.

Don't forget Baston though.

First two look very good. Too early to tell with the others.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Carrol and Olsson have settled in really well imo and seem to have struck up a good understanding on the left side. Certainly exceeded my expectations if I'm honest. I thought Narsingh had his best game first half yesterday so looks like a good option out wide. Ayew, not really seen enough of him yet but I think he's certainly another option for PC, but not sure where he will best fit in, a bit like his brother really but if he can get those goals we won't be complaining..
Overall far better signings than I first thought.

We shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush you know!

Agree with that.

No point scoring from me, I was underwhelmed and am delighted that the first two in particular are proving me wrong.

So far I have been proved wrong on the Carrol

Olsson looks an excellent player

Other 2 haven't seen enough.

How much did we pay Villa to take Taylor?

Dust won't really settle for me until we're safe.

Very promising though, and Carroll and Olsson have done brilliantly so far. The left back change has been nothing short of transformational for us, and if Ayew does nothing else ever, he has still been instrumental for that reason alone - getting rid of the (w)anchor that was dragging us under.

Our best January. Our best recruitment since the summer we bought in the Spaniards.

Thought Carrol was £8M?

But even at that price - someone who can put a ball on Llorente's head like he did, is a steal. And that's not even the main part of his game.

Spurs have to be a seriously good side if they're too good for Siggy and Tom to get near the first team.

Carrol good football brain, and overall he is a very good player. I'd like him to bulk up a bit though, maybe between seasons. I know Leon managed quite well with a small frame, but there are always going to be games when you need to man up as it were. I think he is a little bulkier than when he was last with us. Bulk up and he'll play for Emgland IMO.

Carroll has shown on several occasions that he can get stuck in

There was 2 I can remember on saturday where he won challenges against far stronger looking players

He's stronger than we give him credit for

I certainly underestimated what Carroll and Olsson would do, and very much hope they can keep delivering. The other two also look okay so far, but may need more time to adjust. I just wish we could have pushed the boat out and covered the other full back berth.

Carrol excellent (I'm pleasantly surprised to be saying)

Olsen excellent as well.

Narsingh very encouraging indeed

Ayew (same as above)

They've made a hell of a difference to the team.

But our new manager has made the biggest difference, he's passed on his passion to the players and the players have passed it on to the crowd.

The Liberty is almost back to where it was a couple of seasons ago, when the place was buzzing, personally I can see light at the end of the dark tunnel we've been in, something I never thought I'd be saying such a short time ago.

The Jacks are staying up !!

Carroll has certainly improved since his loan spell with us. I must say his fitness has impressed me, given lack of paying time at Spurs. Their training must be incredible.

His technique is superb especially when he 'fizzes' it out to a winger and puts them on the front foot. Glyfi drifts inwards , Carroll comes wide to link with Olsson and its becoming our go-to attacking pattern.

Certainly think Carroll is a better player now than he was in 2014, Olsson has been a revelation, Narsingh and Ayew will have to bide their time but more than useful from what ive seen

Olsson and Carroll for £8m-£9m is some of the best business the club has done in awhile.

Jury is out on the other 2 but they are cheap enough punts and Ayew helped get Taylor off the books.

Great window at a time when we really needed it.

Narsingh a 4? Was that a typo?

Ayew 7

Even though narsingh had a decent gane on sat he looked a second or 2 slow in thought but I'm certain with pc coaching he will get upto PL speed sooner rather than later

Ayew if used correctly could be the best of the 4

Narsingh a 4? Was that a typo?

On current evidence I fail to see how he can be given much higher. On his arrival he had Routledge and Dyer ahead of him in the pecking order and it has taken him until very recently to get a start ahead of them.

Whether that was due to fitness issues or lack of ability I do not know. However we need players to get in ahead of the deadwood immediately. Olsson and Carroll have done so. Narsingh and Ayew have not.
