Champions League Coefficients 13:14 - Mar 16 with 2262 views | Whiterockin | I don't really understand how it works but is the Premier League close to losing a place to France or Italy.
Champions League Coefficients on 13:58 - Mar 16 with 2221 views | EasternJack | With Italy, I believe it's possible for the 17/18 season. Especially if Italy out-scores England in this year's competition (particularly with 12/13 scores being removed from the calc - which England did well on) http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/ Although from 18/19, the top 4 countries will get 4 places each. Which removes this "problem". There was a lot of noise when this was announced last year - not entirely sure it was ratified(?) There's a big points step down to France in 5th - so that seems unlikely.

Thank you. It doesn't concern us directly, but if we survive this season it could have implications with Europa League places in the future. On a side note. If Man United win the Europa League this season, would we have 5 in the Champions League next season or would the fourth placed Premier League club drop out.

5. There could have been 5 Spanish teams this season, but one of them got knocked out in the qualifiers. Top 4 and Sevilla

Same if Leicester win the CL. If they both win their respective competitions, the fourth placed team gets bumped to the Europa.
