Looking for some suggestions for parking at CC Stadium. Off to see your chumps tomorrow for my sins

Any recommendations gratefully received, preferably on street parking or reasonably priced car parks. Don't mind a bit of a walk. Thanks.

Hmm, I walk over there from near UHW to be honest - dad's care home is on the way followed by a few pubs...

Rumours are the signs in the retail park have been taken down if you fancied risking it - apparently casino there will validate.

When I do have to drive, usually if you get there early enough, can park around Fitzalan High School. Think the school sometimes offer parking inside for a small fee. There's also I think Gol centre, where parking is something like a fiver? Both are down Lawrenny Avenue. Only a couple of minutes from ground - you even get to walk past Lidl to get to the ground! Usually have to get there pretty early mind, it fills up fairly quickly.

EDIT:

Well, a Norwich fan like Gol centre.

Hope you have a good day then

On parking can't imagine it being that much of a problem the ground is quite often only around one third full

Shoppers park around there, because it is usually quiet on a Saturday.

You can park right next to the ground for a fiver. Apparently lots of spaces these days.

Swans have taken over 30,000 fans to Cardiff twice. I doubt cardiff have ever taken even a quarter of that number to any match in swansea..... #smallerthanBarca

There's no ground in Swansea that holds that many, and Cardiff have never played in a 'big' Cup Final at yours, a very strange post, afternoon drinking maybe?

Even with the crowds we're having at the moment, everywhere near the stadium is rammed on match day, after the game is a nightmare to get away from there. I'd park in Sophia Gardens, have a pint in Canton, then walk to the ground. That's what I do on the rare occasions I take the car, hope you have a good day and that Ipswich lose!

Cheers, that school is what I've done before. Good point about walking, the missus is going shopping so I might leave the car with her and just walk from the centre if it's not pissing it down. She can pick me up then and i can have a beer or three.

Why don't you park at the nearest library go in and read a few books, more exciting and more atmosphere.

You're probably right, I went last week, was nearly nodding off at half time, but I find most modern football like that these days.

Yeah, it's been really dull down the Liberty this season too

If you follow the crowds you could end up in Costco. Not a bad call.

Maybe, but most games I watch these days, even on TV, are pretty bland. Obviously there's exceptions, but few and far between. I normally go and watch local Amateur League football, far more exciting.

The last round of champions leagues games have been superb though. Barca and Mac C games both excellent. Arsenal good for the giggles too.

But yep, a lot of footie gets a bit dull - too much on telly and too many people going just so they can a natter with their friends.

Relegation battles are normally quite exciting, been there plenty of times. The 'live' games I watch on TV- normally the Sunday 4 0'clock ones have been mostly dire this season.

Strangely still packed even with dwindling crowds, takes about 45mins to get away from there.

I too was thinking of going down to watch the game.

I rang CCS to ask what time Kick off is

They replied, " what time can you get here?"

If you don't mind a walk, park in Ikea.

Easy free parking option is to drive to penarth, park by Cogan or dingle road stations, is one stop to grangetown, about £3 return.
