It was a lovely touch when the French national anthem was played at football grounds around the country following the terrible attacks in Paris. Would it be a nice idea if the club played God save the queen before the Middlesbrough match to show support for those affected in London?

I'd sing it loud and proud for many reasons.

Maybe Trampie and I could do a harmony duet!

No.

It was one nutter with a car and a knife. He shouldn't be dignified by making us do anything that we wouldn't normally do. Business as usual. (And the fact that I'm a republican and refuse to buy any of Charlie's Royal Duchy cheese has nothing to do with it. ) We move on and forget the fool.

But thanks to Germany for beaming the Union Jack on to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. I can't post a link but just search for "Union Jack Brandenburg".

Exactly and perhaps those dopey pricks in the east stand can put the Union Jack up the right way for one game as a mark of respect.

That exact scenario has played out recently in Paris, Brussels and Germany so it wasn't an unlikely outcome. Of course on this occasion it was wrong.

Do you deny the fact there are quite a few scumbags who want to hurt us slipping into Europe alongside the genuine refugees? Isis have openly admitted they have sent agents.

Trump lover? I think the nicest thing I've ever said about the guy is that he's preferable to Clinton, which isn't much of a compliment in itself. I neither particularly like him or hate him, although he is mildly entertaining.

If anything is to be sung it ought to be Abide with me. Not only is it a beautiful hymn but it is the Forces' song of remembrance and has long-standing FA connections too. The policeman that was killed was ex-RA, it's a footballing occasion, perfect.

I was thinking more of Tums than you to be honest. And there's no getting away from it, I was pissed. Stand by it though, it wasn't a great thing to say when the body count was still unknown.

There are a few scumbags, born and raised in this country, who seek to blame refugees at the first available opportunity, for acts not committed by refugees.

I'm all for remembering those who lost their lives, however I would prefer other avenues than that hideous song.

Needless to say if they decided to play it I will show my respect regardless.
