Now I'm not sure if this qualifies me as one of those tin foil types, but I came across a link to the David Icke forum discussing the current situation in Syria and have to say that I think many pertinent points are raised. I do not trust western media for one second.

So, are we being fed propaganda in an attempt to justify / garner support for the overthrow of Assad? Is he the barbarian that the western media portray him as? And isn't it a bit rich condemning his methods, whilst coalition air strikes kill hundreds of civilians across the border in Iraq?

Agreed, Trump has done a complete U turn since last week.

Trump is not the real leader of America he's just a mouthpiece.

The people who really run the show and tell him what to do we will never see.

This is a dangerous aggressive act that has just taken place,we should not underestimate the negative consequences that are about to unfold.

Next up US boots on the ground ready to take on Assad head on.

Not a chance.

After Iraq and Afghanistan, the US electorate won't stand for more coffins returning home with the Stars and Stripes draped over them.

Well they will be fighting on two fronts then as there are already small pockets of US troops involved in Syria fighting ISIS.

Anyway, I've got to go to bed. I've unfortunately run out of beer.

Highjack. This is one the times you can legitimately say "Don't listen to him. He's pissed."

You're often wrong, tonight you're right.

G'night.

I never comment on your drinking!

I'll ask my wife to ask. You know Syria is secular and what you ask isn't that important, right?

Hump - I'd love to have a beer with you man, if you ever felt inclined.

BBC are reporting that the price of oil has shot up since the attack.

Funny that innit?

I don't believe for one minute Assad launched a chemical attack on his own people. He has absolutely nothing to gain from that.

The US have hit Syrian airfields which were instrumental in fighting ISIS, funny that. Who is the real culprit who carried out the attacks?

Some news agencies were reporting Sarin was used which is complete and utter b*llocks. The rescue workers were handling the bodies without protection and if it were Sarin they would have suffocated too.

Mainstream media is feeding us a load of sh*t.

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks

Yup. They're really ramping up the US v Russia rhetoric on independent radio this morning. Worrying times.

It has and always has been about regime change in Syria.
Syria is fighting Isis & al quieda .
US of A bombing a Syrian air field taking that out of action .

That'll really help the cause .

Will we ever learn.?

What I can tell you, Perch, with absolute certainty is nobody in work with me tonight will give a sh!t about Syria. It won't be brought up once.

When I read talk about what are 'we' going to do? What should 'our' response be? I often wonder who is being talked about?

Very astute observation loh.

And very true

I wonder if those keen to doubt genocidal maniacs are losing any sleep either but feel incline to posture , as the left often do.

Ive seen doubting Assad being a monster

Thousands wrong then

Refugees flocking here might contend he most certainly is a monster

Unless 'we' is the collective 'we' of the United Nations, 'we' need to start to learn to keep our bloody noses out where they are not requested and 'we' need to understand that 'we' are not the world's policeman.

Unfortunately 'we' never seem to learn that when 'we' intervene, it almost always ends up far worse than it was previously.

What is happening in Syria is beyond abhorrent. I cannot imagine what it's like for the people that live there. But 'we' would have slightly more credibility in our sudden humanitarian fervour if 'we' hadn't spent the last few months trying to keep Syrians fleeing from the horror out of our 'our' countries.

Sickening. The whole bloody thing. Sickening.

Also sickening is the utter refusal incidentally of the UN to do anything other than pay lip service when these situations arise. The whole system needs pulling apart. But the US do NOT become a proxy for the UN in the meantime, particularly not when 'the US' is one egotistical maniac acting with no checks and balances.

...so intervene or not

Is he killing his own

Would he

If he does or has, do we let him .

Simple really

So let's some some answers then advise the UN of them as some on here seem to have the answers or at least know the root cause ,I'd America, Trump..
