I recently got a caught doing 37 in a 30 zone.

However, I had the choice of 3 points plus ine or £80 to attend a speeding course and no points.

I chose the latter.

It's making no difference to some insurance companies now whether you take the points or awareness course.

Guys beware of a ‘Go-Safe’ speed van on the (ex-Valeo) Toyoda Gosei site climbing hill/road in Gorseinon. I saw one situated there in an off-road lay-by on the April 5th. There is inadequate signage (none) i.e. the speed limit is 30mph and it’s very hard to (we’re not robots) maintain exact foot pressure/calibration whilst looking at both speedometer and the road also. The road looks like a 40mph and is driven to that speed by many.

I see this particular speed trap as a ‘revenue-raiser’ due to lack of speed signage, perception by many that it’s a 40mph road and the fact the van is in-situ and only visible to drivers at a certain point. And that point itself is when it’s easy to accidently over press the accelerator when on an uphill climb.

You find it difficult to drive at bang on 30mph without looking at your speedo?

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

I passed my test over a year ago! I Have not picked up any points. I've GOT to look at my speedometer. Paranoia (6 point, new pass 2yr ruling) of having my driving lisence revoked, being instantly banned, having to retake both my theory and practical test dictates I HAVE to look at my speedometer.

Cars can be seized easily .

Daughter s chap does it regularly

Phones should always be seized and this government has been lacking in supporting police in this regard .

My beef with conservatives is they are not protecting the public as they should
