Swansea Harrier forgoing his own time and helping a stranded runner do the last 200m of the London marathon. Classy guy but just what I expect of Swansea people.

He's from Neath.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

I wouldn't have thought so, Dick. Athletes camaraderie.

I haven't see the footage or know the story. Was the guy he helped a friend or stranger?

I'vw known many do this marathon and they'd do absolutely anything to get their mug on tv.
One mate of mine hated seb Coe but shook his hand when the cameras were on him!

Is this the same chap who beat all the British elite athletes? Started with the masses too i believe.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.
Poll: Would you support military action against Syria on what we know so far?

I've ran London a few times. Sometimes finishing well and once finishing in a heck of a state. Believe me at that point, you are not looking for the cameras, you are simply focussing on finishing,.

Running, especially a marathon is not only about your race but looking after your fellow runners. The lad he helped was from Chorlton Runners, a local club to where I live now. In thanks they are all now planning a trip down to Swansea to help out at Swansea' parkun later in the summer.

Incredible selfless act by Matthew Rees. Top lad.
