Buying a used car 17:01 - Apr 23 with 1709 views | Dyfnant | Think I know the answer to this but here goes, the Experian data check I've done on the car I was going to look at tomorrow has flagged up inconsequential mileage number. The car is advertised as full VWSH, 2012 with 29k on the clock DVLA 15/02/2017 29000 RMI mileage 21/12/2015 22125 RMI mileage 29/01/2015 18436 RMI mileage 07/11/2014 20145 VMC. 17/10/2013 8074 DVLA. 08/10/2013 10000 RMI mileage 31/01/2013 5733 Opinions please

Buying a used car on 17:28 - Apr 23 with 1669 views | monmouth | If it's part of the VW diesel poison the population defeat device manufacture, don't touch it with a barge pole. My mate worked for VAG in Scotland for a while, and says their 'fix' really affects performance or consumption or both and often isn't done properly by the dealers. Also, he said that VW 'customer service' when things go wrong is legendary for being pretty close to the worst in the industry, and that's saying something compared to the other 'love you until you've bought the car' Huns. As to the stuff you've quoted no idea mate sorry.

Buying a used car on 17:38 - Apr 23 with 1651 views | exiledclaseboy | I wouldn't worry about it. Mileage recording is very hit and miss and relies on people reading the odometer properly. You'd be surprised how many people struggle with that.

Buying a used car on 18:01 - Apr 23 with 1611 views | nantywatcher | Looks all Ok other than the 29/01/2015 entry which is only 2 months after the 7/11/2014 entry - my money would be on ibeing a mistake, however I always say if youa re checking out the car in the first place why buy from someone you don't trust??

By coincidence I had my letter on Friday asking me to arrange a dealer visit so that the emissions 'issue' can be rectified. I'm going to leave it until the week before I return the car as I've read lots of comments regarding adverse performance.
